Me in a nutshell.
…and just like that, I have 15 books finished and have wrapped a series!
The Route to You is FINAL and off to the polishing stage of editing. It’s the last book in the Wanderlust series and…whew!!!! I really can’t believe I’m done with another series. This one, Kyle’s story (Elle and Liddy’s brother) took an interesting turn…or *route* not to be too punny (but I couldn’t resist).
Of course it’s a romance at heart with a satisfying HEA, but it also was such an important book for me to write—about grief, healing from deep wounds, and finding the way back home. The last season of my life has dealt with some tough stuff and, if you’ve read my books, you know I don’t shy away from putting my characters through the gritty trials of life, either.
I do it because I believe in hope. In the idea that love is one of the most powerful remedies to all the ugliness we encounter. And because I truly believe that sharing tough journeys with deep character arcs and flawed people is what takes a story from being *just* entertainment (which is a good goal too!) to powerful and resonant.
So I can’t wait for you to read Kyle’s story. I’m really proud of this one—and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do. The Route to You will be out August!!!
