Get swept away by the riveting and romantic World War I saga with Windswept, the book that started it all. Perfect for readers who love The Nightingale and The Alice Network. A "gripping adventure" (Kirkus Reviews).

A complete series of interconnected standalone contemporary romances set in fictional Appalachian town Brandywood, Maryland. Brimming with swoony small town charm, found family, and sizzling heat.

Fall in love around the world with the Wanderlust series—steamy, laugh-out-loud romances set in unforgettable destinations. Each book is a standalone escape packed with heart, heat, and just the right kind of chaos.

Annabelle McCormack writes historical romantic fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance packed with sprawling adventures, epic love, and soulmates who just can’t stay away from each other (even when the world is falling apart). If there’s a sweeping love story with high stakes and deep emotions, she’s probably writing it—or at least dreaming about it while chasing down her next cup of coffee.
When she’s not wrangling words, she’s wrangling five home-schooled kids, a couple of dogs, and an unreasonable amount of books in Maryland. If life had more hours (and less laundry), she’d be traveling, painting, or becoming a professional pastry chef. For now, she’s content with baking, reading, lifting heavy things at the gym, and plotting her next great escape—er, novel. She has been happily publishing since 2021.

Oooo I keep seeing people I follow saying we’re bringing back the early days of Instagram so here’s my coffee and my laptop on my blanket as I try to get some writing work done on a slow paced homeschool morning. But seriously, can we bring back the olden days of “everyday life” feeds? Haha. Here’s my lunch is such easy content and just about my energy level rn.💛
“Things fantasy men say that make me melt, for a 100, Alex.”
But seriously, Rykr has alllllll the lines. So smooth. 😍
Dress for the job. Shift your mentality, prepare yourself externally in order to help the internal ideas, reach for those goals. Happy Monday!
2025 wasn’t easy, but it still has some amazing high points. While I was sad to leave Brandywood behind, I started a new journey in a new genre with Carved in Crimson and the response to the world of romantasy has been incredible. I also revisited old friends with Jack, Ginger, and Noah in A Spark in Ashes, and got to explore the many Parises of the US with Isla and Aiden in One Time in Paris.
And I wrote. A lot! I have some exciting new projects on the horizon, that I can’t wait to share with you. I also signed with a literary agent and that’s been super fun to be exploring the world of potentially becoming a hybrid author.
This year…might be a bit quieter in some ways because of that. I have a new book in the Heirs of Lirien and Wanderlust series to publish this year—but rest assured that I’ll also be spending a lot of this year also writing and developing new projects that will get to you someday soon! I can’t wait to share more about all of it with you as I figure out a home for these books. 🫶
The biggest reason my career hit high points in 2025 though? YOU. You all have brought these dreams to life through your support and enthusiasm. Thank you so much. Hope 2026 is a great one (sorry 2025 but I won’t miss you, haha!)—love to you all. 🩷
Posting this gorgeous piece of artist created work by @pandorayoung to my page because I want it clear and easily accessible on my feed that this incredible art work was created not only by someone that massively talented but also because it deserves to be front and center. 😘
Rykr and Seren have my whole heart and I’m so thrilled you all have connected with them these last couple of months. I’ll be sharing so much more about them in 2026, including more art work as soon as I commission more!! 🩷 I can’t wait to see what else I can get Pan to draw in the future because she’s the very best! Thank you so much for bringing Seren and Rykr to life!
