Happy spring, ya’ll! I know I’m a day late but the sun was shining so gorgeously through my dining room window this morning as I was working on book editing that I wanted to share it with you!

Happy St. Paddy’s Day with my green book!!! ☘️ Funny fact, while I have a very Irish last name now (my husband’s) I am actually only 1% Irish, haha! 😆
I grew up with my grandmother telling me her family was Scottish and Irish. Turned out that I’m 30% Scottish, but her relatives must have just made Ireland a stopping point during immigration because there was no Irish on that side at all! The teeny bit of Irish I have comes from my Latina mother’s side, and I’m completely fascinated by how that side was shaped because it is a Mediterranean and native Costa Rican smorgasbord.
But, I still like to celebrate. My kids and husband have the luck of the Irish anyway. So we’ll be having cottage pie tonight and some Irish soda bread. Are you doing anything to celebrate?
